The lanyard is one of the few tools which you can personalize. Personalized lanyards can be created in a number of different ways.
The first way to customize a lanyard is to choose the look of the lanyard itself. When you are buying a lanyard for yourself, you will have hundreds of options. You might want to use the lanyard as a way of showing your allegiance to a certain team or organization. Almost every professional sports team has their own lanyards. Animals are often featured on cords. If you favor a certain kind of animal, you will most likely be able to find one on a ribbon.
The attachment on the lanyard is another option that you can alter. Different attachments will permit you to modify it to your needs. If you want to carry a sports bottle, you might consider buying one, which has a carbineer. However, if carrying your ID is the goal, then think about a bull clip.
Remember that a lanyard is built to be strong. What this means is that you are not restricted to a single attachment. You can add a second or third clasp. Each clasp can carry a different item. If your primary goal is to carry your keys, you could add a lobster claw which would enable you to have a small flashlight on the cord. Alternatively, you could include a carbineer and keep a personal safety product on the cord.
A lanyard is far more than a simple cord. It is a device that you can personalize to perform many different functions. You can also make it personal by using it to promote one of your interests.
